We operate from two bases on the banks of the River Wye on the quieter section between Hereford and Ross-on-Wye
All trips meet at our base at Tresseck Campsite where you can leave your car and we will transport you to/from your start and end points. Tresseck campsite is situated in the centre of Hoarwithy village, just below the church in Herefordshire, located midway between the market town of Ross-on-Wye 6 miles to the south and the city of Hereford 8 miles to the north.
The simple, back-to-basics campsite runs along the banks of the picturesque and peaceful River Wye spreading out across a large river meadow and is very popular spot for canoeists.
The entrance to the site is just next to The New Harp Inn, the postcode of which is HR2 6QH
Our second operating base is 8.5 miles upstream where we are fortunate to be located on Lucksall Caravan park, which provides a 5 star camping experience in the heart of rural Herefordshire. There are 4 lovely country pubs within a 3 mile radius, all of which would be a beautiful walk or bike ride to if you have the energy left after a good days paddling.
Conveniently both bases are half way down the navigable stretch of the Wye, meaning shorter drop off and pick up times for our longer multi day trips, and freedom from the congested areas of Glasbury and Symonds Yat.
We are blessed with the most tranquil and relaxing stretch of the river and we would love to share it with you.
